Senior Producer

Martin is a multilingual resident of Mexico who grew up just outside New York City. He attended the AFI's screenwriting program, has written four full-length original screenplays and has produced dozens of videos for an international clientele during a 25 year career spent in five countries on three continents. He created Studio Tlaque in 2023, and is present on every shoot, making sure you get what you came to Mexico for, and more.

César Camacho

Cesar Camacho

Director & Cinematographer

A graduate of the University of Guadalajara with a Bachelor of Audiovisual Arts degree, Cesar is an award winning director, cinematographer and (Apple certified Final Cut) editor of short films, trailers and documentaries. His reel can be seen on the Home Page of this site. Recent achievements include winning The International Rally 48 Hours Film Project, for best screenplay and best short film. Co-Director, cinematographer and editor of the short documentary La Herencia del Viento Berlinale which was a 2019 official selection at FICG 2019. Winner for best documentary short Made in Jalisco, a GIFF 2019 official selection. Sao Paulo International Film Festival official selection and winner of my Latin American Short Film. Semi-finalist BAFTA 2019 student film awards - Official Selection Shots México. Official selection FIGC LA - Official selection Arlington International Festival - Student Academy Awards 2019 Nomination (Student Oscar).

Luis received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Guadalajara. He is an actor who has performed in numerous feature films and television shows in Mexico. He is a respected member of the area's community of professional performing artists with contacts in every discipline. As an English speaker Luis is ideally positioned to play a key role on the Studio Tlaque's team, meeting the needs of foreign productions in Mexico.

Alberto Dorante

Motion Graphics Designer

With 12 years of experience in the audiovisual industry producing advertising campaigns and digital marketing strategies, Alberto is the creator of the demo reel in the motion graphics page of this site. He brings his design skills to the creation of Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, YouTube Ads, and Google Ads campaigns. He is also an accomplished product photographer and videographer, and drone pilot. He is a graduate of the University of Guadalajara with a bachelor of arts degree in audiovisual communications, and has worked for the Amsterdam government, Selva Negra Ecological Foundation, the Movimiento Ciudadano political party, Canal 11 Mexico, INAI, University of Guadalajara, Canal 44, and Tec de Monterrey.

Réne is a multidisciplinary producer who in addition to handling our equipment management needs, specializes in shooting live events, aerial videography and photography, and post production. using the Adobe Creative Suite. He graduated from Guadalajara Lamar University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Communications.

Tamara Malano

Tamara Malano

Associate Producer

Tamara graduated from the Municipal School of Fine Arts, Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She moved to Guadalajara in 2019. In Argentina she acted in short films, commercials and the well known series "Smile in 360." In Mexico she has been a TV host and made commercials for Kavak, MiBici, Grupo Modelo, and Megacable, etc. Tamara also teaches acting, theatrical improvisation and corporal expression. Lately she performs as a stand up comedian and improvisational artist, and works as an announcer on the Romance 99.5fm station. She brings her attention to detail, organizational skills and irrepressible personality to her role as Associate Producer.

Since 2004 when she began her career, Teresa has been the gaffer for dozens of productions in the Mexico film and television industry. She has worked on numerous features and television series, and has a loyal team of assistants she brings to our shoots. Connected with every major rental house in Guadalajara and in the capital Mexico City, she is ideally skilled and positioned to supply lighting equipment and design to our international clients.

Gretchen Angel

A native of Guadalajara, Gretchen is a graduate of the Universidad de Medios Audiovisuales (CAAV). An avid and trained photographer and videographer, she has worked on several feature film productions and short films, and numerous music videos. With a range of production skills and English speaking, she can assistant direct, shoot stills, build sets, and fill most any role requiring ingenuity.

Clémence (Clem to her friends here in Mexico), brings the lifelong love of food and cooking she acquired growing up on the family farm in Brittany, France. She received her degree in tourism from the University of Rennes before moving to Mexico in 2018. In addition to her native French she speaks Spanish and English. When not feeding cast and crew for Studio Tlaque , Clem can often be found at Guadalajara's Alliance Française catering events for visitors, and serving as a local ambassador of her country's cuisine.

Carlos Camacho

Sound Man & Rigger

Carlos is the Swiss Army Knife on on our team. He can record sound, shoot 2nd camera, manage logistics and transportation, build and mount camera rigs, scout locations, and effortlessly slip into the role of production assistant when needed. A native of Guadalajara, he knows his way around Jalisco state and how to safely get cast and crew where they need to be.

Fight Choreographer

As the only South American on the Studio Tlaque team, César helps extend our reach with his connections to his native Columbia where he graduated from Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas and Institución Universitaria Politécnico Grancolombiano. A multi-disciplinary performing artist, he is a classically trained actor and dancer. He brings his enthusiasm for film production and expertise in fight choreography to the sets of Studio Tlaque.
